Springtime Green Threaded Diamond Optic Bowl
This beautiful bowl is made of transparent green glass. The green is just a bit darker than
"depression glass green" but not as dark as avocado green. This pattern and color were made in 1977 and 1978. The bowl has a
ruffled edge and three feet. On the inside is the diamond optic pattern. On the outside is a fine threaded pattern that makes the
glass shimmer. The bowl measures about 6-1/2" across and is about 4-1/4" tall. It is signed Fenton in an oval.

Silver Overlay or Silver Deposit Ware |
| Glassware decorated with silver has been made for many years. Most of the
items listed here can be dated from the 1950s to the 1970s. Silver Decorated glassware is inspected very carefully. Items listed
here are in excellent condition, showing only minor wear, but they are not "mint." (We do not consider this glassware to be in mint
condition unless it is just like new and absolutely perfect. In order to call this glassware mint there must be no wear on the silver,
no scratches, no speckles, as well as no nicks or damage to the glass.)

Viking Janice Silver Overlay Two-Handled Crystal Tray
This lovely clear glass tray is decorated with silver overlay in the Flanders Poppy pattern
and has a 25th Anniversary banner. The edge of the dish is also trimmed with silver. (The handles are not silver trimmed.)
The glass is New Martinsville/Viking's Janice shape, and the silver overlay was most likely applied at Silver City Glass. The tray
measures 11-1/2" across the top, not including the handles in the measurement. This dish is in excellent condition. The silver
is bright and shiny, with only very light wear, and the original non-tarnish finish is intact. There are no chips or cracks in the

Tiara Exclusives Round Ashtrays
Each ashtray is made of clear glass with a blue painted logo on the bottom
that says "a Tiara Exclusive." The ashtrays measure about 4-1/4" across and 1-1/8" tall. The blue paint was
applied a little bit unevenly, and does have some bubbles from the factory. But it is not scratched or worn. Each
ashtray has a teeny nick on the inner rim than can be felt but is not obviously seen. Three ashtrays available.

Tiara Blue Satin Honey Box
This covered honey box is made of pale blue glass with an "etched" satin
finish. The honey box measures about 5-1/2" square and just undr 6" tall. The molded-in pattern shows flowers,
bees, and beehives. The lid is in excellent condition, with no chips or nicks. The bottom of the dish has four
teeny nicks on the inside rim, and on the outside, there is one very shallow, 1/4" square nick on the center of
one corner, near one of the bees. Please click here

Viking Glass
In 1944 the New Martinsville Glass Company changed its name to the Viking Glass
Company and continued to produce very nice quality glassware. Many New Martinsville molds were kept in use at Viking. The
company became Dalzell Viking about 1986, and ceased production in April 1998.

Beauty is Glass from Viking Booklet
This booklet measures 8-1/2" X 11". It has 40 pages. 35 pages are black & white and 5 pages
are in color.(Please click on the photos at the left to see larger photos.) The booklet is copyrighted 1967 by Viking
Glass Company. This booklet illustrates and describes the glass manufacturing process at the Viking hand-glass plant.
It includes moldmaking, etching, and other glassmaking techniques. There are rows of vases and compotes pictured
as they come out of the lehr. The section on etching uses Prelude sugars and creamers and a beautiful Prelude bowl
as examples. The grinding and polishing section includes the Janice pattern in it's photos. The lovely black and
white photos near the back of the booklet display vases, a basket, a covered candy dish, ashtrays, ducks, and the
long-tailed bird among other pieces. The last page is a drawing of the Viking plant at New Martinsville West Virginia.
The booklet includes some history of the Viking Glass Company, and of course some photos of beautiful Viking Glass.
It's focus is primarily on explaining the glassmaking process. This booklet is in wonderful condition, with no
stains, tears, or bends. One available ..... $20.00
