Fire-King Glassware  was made by the Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation using a formula that produced durable, heat-proof glassware. Some pieces were embossed with the name Fire-King, and others carried identifying labels. Fire-King colors included Jade-ite, Azur-ite, Turquoise Blue, Sapphire Blue, Ivory, Royal Ruby, Forest Green, and Milk White, along with many fired-on colors and decorations. This page features vintage Anchor Hocking glassware.  Early American Prescut  and Sandwich Glass  by Anchor Hocking are on separate pages.  (This website is not affiliated with the Anchor Hocking company, and does not represent the Anchor Hocking Company in any way.)

We are not buying or selling antiques and collectibles right now. Please feel free to visit the pages on our website for information about collectibles. (Links are near the bottom of this page.) Some pages will have more information than others; more will be added as time allows.

Examples of Fire-King Glassware
jpg image Jadite Saucer  This saucer is the St. Denis shape. Each saucer measures just under 6" across. The saucers are curved up at the edge, so each measures about 1" tall at the rim. They are marked "Oven Fire-King Ware Made in U.S.A."
jpg image Turquoise Blue  Turquoise blue is an opaque, light blue color. The square ashtray came in several sizes.
jpg image Ivory  The ivory color was made in dinnerware and kitchenware; plain and decorated. This covered jar was decorated with a dot design.
jpg image White Yellowstone Souvenir Lace Edge Compote  This pretty little compote (footed bowl) measures 3" tall and is 5-1/4" across the top. The top of the compote is flat with a lacy edge. The compote bowl has a Yellowstone Park decal showing features like Old Faithful, Fishing Bridge, Bears, and Buffalo. The compote is NOT signed fire-king. This compote is illustrated on page 53 of "Anchor Hocking's Fire-King and More, Second Edition" by Gene Florence.
jpg image Coppertint  Coppertint ovenware is a golden, coppery color applied to white fire-king glass. This is an original Coppertint sticker.

jpg image Forest Green  Forest Green is a transparent dark green color. It was made in a large variety of shapes. This bowl is in the Burple pattern. Forest Green displays very nicely with Royal Ruby.
jpg image Royal Ruby  Royal Ruby is a transparent dark red color. This is an ivy vase or Wilson vase. More information on Royal Ruby glass can be found here.
jpg image Fire King Mugs  Fire King mugs were made in several styles and colors. They are a fun collecting category, and some people collect only Fire King mugs and cups. A few designs are shown here.
