of all types are a popular collectible, since they can be used as well as displayed.
Pillsbury Bake-Off cookbooks are a fun specialty within cookbook collecting. The first Bake-Off contest was held in 1949 and the
resulting recipe booklet was published in 1950. New Bake-Off books continue to be added to the series. Items are priced "each" unless noted otherwise. | Our thoughts on Condition: We do our best to provide cookbooks in above average condition. Cookbooks were intended to be used, so most will have at least light wear. Scuffs, stains, creases and torn spots are very common, and will be noted if present. Many scuffs and creases will not show in the scan, but are mentioned in the description. Please feel free to email with specific questions! Our definitions for grading terms are: Mint Absolutely as new. No bends, tears, or scuffs. Mint condition books have been well protected and have never been dropped in a drawer to slide around with other cookbooks. Fine or Near Mint means the cookbook is very close to it's original factory condition. Excellent means the cookbook may have very minor shelf wear and very minor corner scuffs. Very Good means no major tears or bends, but does have normal scuffs and wear Good or Average means the cookbook may have some tears and bends, but is not worn out. Moderate means the cookbook has more prominent tears and bends. Poor means the cookbook is good enough to be used, but is probably not good enough for a collection. However, it will still have readable recipes. Please see each item description for further details. |

3rd Bake-Off - Moderate Condition Measures about 6" X 8-7/8". Copyright 1952. This cookbook has all of its pages and the binding is tight. The cover, edges, and spine have light wear, light creases, and light scuffs. About one-third of the pages have small areas of liquid damage. The title page (page one) has significant liquid damage including speckles, many small holes, and stains. The title page is also faded from the spill being wiped up. The damage on the title page goes through to pages three and four. There are also some light stains on the inside of the front cover. ....$3.50 as is |

It has the same recipes as the softcover 21st Bake-Off, but the order is changed a little and some of the layout is different. The copyright date is 1970. Pages are clean with no tears, creases, or stains. There is some light wear and dirt on the covers and a couple of small stains on the back cover.
